Networking Europe Through Engineering: Conference Abstract

The characteristics of true European Engineers: they speak several languages, they studied in different countries and they work in an international environment. True European Engineers move effortlessly between cultures and languages thus fulfilling a dream that seemed very distant for the generation of their parents.

As Young Engineers we strive to become true Europeans Engineers. We believe that the future of the engineering profession will be determined by the ability to network and share knowledge in an international environment.

The aim of this seminar is to have different views on the expectations to young European engineers. Which are the core competences required to live up to the demands in a dynamic international working environment?

To get a broad overview of this issue politicians and representatives from international companies, business promotion and professional engineering are invited to contribute with their reflections and expectations.
